Fat Harlot Wants To Rule

Friends,
It is quite alarming that C. Peter Wagner, a leader in many “Christian” circles, has stated that a government can only be overthrown by another government, and that this is the way for the church to rule the nations. He has found it to be one of his callings to push for “transformation” in the workplace, and promotes the writings of Ed Silvoso who believes that revival starts in the marketplace.

Really? Does it? Who says? I don’t find that supported by Scripture. In fact, when they say that this revival will usher in the kingdom of God, we should remind them to reread Luke 17:20,21. “Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ‘The kingdom of God does not come visibly, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.'” IN us. Jesus rules in our hearts, our minds, our spirits. That’s what it means to be born from above, born of His Spirit. (John 3:3-8) When THAT transformation happens, then a person is a totally new creation, the old nature gone, the new nature in place. (2 Cor. 5:17 & 1 John 3:9) It has nothing to do with a physical take-over of government, or of the business sector, or of a government in or of the church! To even suggests such smacks of attempting to usurp the rule of the Holy Spirit in each born-again individual’s life.

“Christian” leaders such as Rick Joyner who are speaking about using physical militancy to bring in the rule of Christ need to be reminded of some Scripture passages. For example, John 18:36 –“Jesus said, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now My kingdom is from another place.'” We do not fight physically! And no, the word “now” does not mean then versus 2009. It means spiritually then all the way up until the time when He will come to judge and set up His righteous rule on this earth. And no, that does not mean, as many false teachers teach, that He will be reigning invisibly through the church who is “Christ incarnate”. –Talk about joining up with Buddhist and New Age teachings! –as well as mystics and Catholics who say Christ is incarnate in the wafer of the “mass” (the communion bread).

Instead, as God’s Word teaches, Christ Jesus will come in person visibly, “coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him.” (Rev. 1:7) “They will look on Me, the one they have pierced, and mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child…” (Zech. 12:10) For “God’s judgment… will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels.” (2 Thes. 1:7) Yes, He will come again –as He truly is: God in bodily form; only this time not to die, but to judge; for He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Rev. 19:13,16 & 17:14)

“On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west… Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.” (Zech. 14:4,5) “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matt. 24:27) THEN there will be judgment, the wrath of God, death, and a shaking of the earth. (v. 28,29) And in verses 30 & 31 Jesus continues, “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

No, Rick Joyner and his cronies are not the angels who will gather the elect, nor are they the ones who must inflict the judgment. Jesus Himself –in one body… no, not through “the body of Christ, the church”– His one glorified body will be seen by the inhabitants of the entire earth, and HE will judge and HE will rule. No, not through the church! HE Himself is going to rule. The righteous will rule alongside of Him, but He will be SEEN. And He will be seen as one King –in a body! Good grief, how we have to overemphasize a clear truth because of how these false teachers twist the Scripture with their word games!

What is this that Peter Wagner and Rick Warren are trying to hasten? The church’s global rule? What does the Bible say about the church rule that is to come? It prophesies a harlot church. And the leader of it? It won’t be Christ. It will be the antichrist, for the true Christ’s reign will not happen until He comes in great splendor, and “that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness and sin is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He opposes and exalts himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, and even sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” (2 Thes. 2:3,4) This evil guy has to be around because as verse 8 says, “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrown with the breath of His mouth and destroy by the splendor of His coming.”

Can’t these “Christian” church leaders understand that until Jesus, the one and only God, comes to reign in person, no man or group that rises to total power can refrain from getting corrupted and oppressing his fellow man? What foolishness! The “Christian” church plays right into the hands of the kings who will later hate her. As the angel said to John, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters. With her the kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries… The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.” (Rev. 17:1,2,15,16)

True Christian, come out from this apostatizing church “so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.” (Rev. 18:4) Get away from churches that promote the philosophies of Rick Warren, C. Peter Wagner, Ed Silvoso, Peter Drucker, and Bob Buford. They are teaching a global P.E.A.C.E. plan with a “three-legged stool” that merges the public sector (government), the private sector (corporations), and the social sector (churches) all into one, thinking they are going to bring in the kingdom of God.

No, such a man-inspired global rule instead brings in a kingdom of a false god, and they are merely joining in with the plan of the enemy. It’d be wise to keep the church out from under anyone’s authority except that of the Holy Spirit. And one way to do that is, for starters, take Jesus’ advice in Matt. 22:21, “Give to Caesar that which is Caesar’s and to God that which is God’s.”

In other words, keep church and state completely separate. Because once those two join up, then businesses will also, and that sounds too much like the way the beast operates in Rev. 13:15-17, who caused “all who refused to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that on one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.” And we know that all who take this mark will later receive the full fury of God’s wrath, torment forever. (Rev. 14:9-11)

One more passage of warning for those who are trying to force in the rule of the kingdom of God is Isa. 5:18,19.”Woe to those who draw sin along with cords of deceit, and wickedness as with cart ropes, to those who say, ‘Let God hurry, let Him hasten His work so we may see it. Let it approach, let the plan of the Holy One of Israel come, so we may know it.'”

Do we see that word “woe” concerning those who demand that God hasten His work and His plan, and try to illegitimately bring it about? Um-humm… So how about if we all go back to the Scriptures and read what it is exactly that Jesus anoints us for and commissions us to do as His ambassadors on this earth?

Sincerely,
with love,
Rachel
