He Who Creates That He May Torture

There once upon a time was a God who decreed that in order for Him to get the most glory and exaltation, a few of His creatures were to be created to be saved from eternal flames of fire, while almost all others were to be created for torture in those flames forever. This God watched as people hung onto ropes which hovered over the pit from which the eternal flames came. At random, this God would snatch some from their impending peril, while to the others He, as well as His Son and His messengers, called out instructions for the people to repent, turn, believe, listen, obey, etc., yet at the same time, commanded that no one could in fact come to their rescue.

This, friends, is the god of Calvinism. This IS exactly what Calvinism preaches. And Calvinists in the churches and pulpits raise their outcry that we would dare to defame John Calvin, the concocter of this vile belief system, (a mayor who himself ordered killings and tortures), while shockingly, they wonder why non-Calvinists raise the outcry that they defame GOD!

No, God saw us all condemned to the pit because of the penalty of sin. This pit was actually created for the devil, but the devil, hating God and knowing God had given humans the gift of free choice, tempted man to rebel against God. In this way, Satan usurped God’s perfect creation. But God, in His great love and mercy, came in bodily form to take the punishment to atone for the world’s sin. Thus the ransom for sin was paid. (1 Tim. 2:5,6) ALL sin. Everyone’s sin. FULL and complete payment was made. Everyone is invited to take the pardon. The only requirement is belief and repentance. (Mark 1:15 & Acts 26:20) True belief will regenerate a person so that they become “born from above” (John 3:3-8) and will, as they are taught and empowered by Him, follow Him in loving obedience. This is the true gospel, and salvation is extended to everyone by a very kind and merciful God who “does not want anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

Calvinism’s god does no such thing. Calvinism’s god is evil, willing that many perish, purposefully withholding from billions of people THE ABILITY to repent.

This repugnant doctrine must be exposed, must be contended with, must be stopped. It is seeping quickly into mainstream Christianity as if it IS Christianity. It is not. It comes from a “different spirit”, and it is a “different gospel.” (2 Cor. 11:4) Many people are deserting the truth “and are turning to a different gospel– which is really no gospel at all.” (Gal. 1:6,7) Verse 7 says that this comes from those who are trying to throw others into confusion while perverting the gospel of Christ. And verse 8 goes on to say some very strong words: “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!”

It is true that some people who say they are Calvinists actually don’t know what Calvinism truly teaches. Or they latch onto one part of it, but would deny the rest. However, though this can be SAID, in reality, it is not possible, for Calvinism’s points, to even attempt to follow some course of logic, must rely on its other points. Indeed, Calvinism not only does not let Scripture interpret Scripture, it also does NOT follow logic, and is forced to contradict itself often.

I have, in the last week, found two very excellent websites that explain clearly the fallacies of Calvinism’s TULIP doctrines. Here are their addresses:

Friends, those of us who claim to be Christians must be like the Bereans who “received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” (Acts 17:11) Yes, the Bible must be diligently, carefully, and honestly studied. All types of false doctrines and false gospels are being proclaimed. All kinds of cunning false teachers and preachers tout messages that do not line up with the whole counsel of God’s Word.

We have no excuse to fall for such things.

We have the Truth available.
